LOST CITY LIVING MEMORIES: VANPORT THROUGH THE VOICES OF ITS RESIDENTS

A screening of selected short oral history documentaries from the Vanport Mosaic living archive, the largest collection of first-person narratives about life in the Miracle City, the flood that destroyed it, and its aftermath. Followed by reflections with Vanport descendant and community organizer LaVeta Gilmore Jones.

Our traveling exhibit, Vanport: A Story Lived; A Story Told, will be on display from January 8th to the 15th.
