Minh Tran's latest work for his company, ANICCA / Impermanence, explores rituals around death and mourning in Vietnamese Buddhist culture from a deeply personal perspective.  Danced by Tran's seven member Portland-based company, the 49-minute performance is formatted in seven sections of seven minutes each in adherence to Buddhist funeral traditions observed on the 49th day following death.
